The West Coast synth is finished and tested. Is has now a descent case. Inside is open so you can see how it looks like. Still busy with the preparation of a desent video demo of the synth. To be continued...
West Coast synthesis finished
Dude that's insane !!
I'm actually finishing a west coast synth too ! I want to know more about yours, how it souds...
Mine is a micro music easel.
Look at him :
Nice to see your DIY music device. I was contemplating about some extensions of the analogue Modular Synths which had proceeded into Eurorack systems with abundance of synth companies that support this format. Computer electronics andvanced as well very rapidly. That's why Axoloti loooks pretty tinny in the background of the Front plate box. Like we should have to expect the complete & entire computer-server farm in a single PC case. Regards! Oskarmusician
Thanks. It took me quit a while to built the patch and to integrate with Doepfer interface, but it works very nice and I'm
preparing the video demo who it sounds. It's a multimbral synth with 3 channels, so you can play it with groovebox, Ableton Live or other DAW or keyboard via midi.
You have 2 time a modulation oscillator and principal where you can randomize pitch and randomize low pass gate for each oscillator. The lower part you can choose between sto and braids oscillator with low pass filter, modulated by filter or 4 lfo's. Also included is are AMP and filter envelopes. The synth has integrated effects...Tape delay and reverb, full in stereo. It has also a preset where you can save and load 8 presets
Have little patient, because still busy with the video demo

Thanks very much.
I drawed the layout myself, beacuse in the past I was CAD designer in electronics. Video demo will come very soon

Hi, yours looks very nice too. Do you have a demo of it ? Like also to hear it
Cheers

Like you, I'm a bit busy because I'm working on a video demo too !
But it will be here soon. I've used a Teensy 3.2 with mpr121 touch capacitiv, to make the sensitiv keyboard and extend the numbers of analog & digital input of the axoloti-core. I think you did the same with the doepfer interface isn't it ?
I'm really exited to see how yours sounds. Exactly like you, the hardest part for me was the patch himself. took me around two months. Many nights to understand new things. I had the Buchla easel VST from Arturia to compare the fonctionality and the sounds of my patch. And I've putted some new things that the original easel don't have. Like an LFO sine or random can be set to the internal sequencer for the clock, or on the pitch of each oscillator. Hard sync possibility for the modulation oscillator with the complex oscillator etc...
Do you think you'll share your patch to the community ? I'm thinking about making a final object of mine for the patcher allows user to test it.
So I'm waiting for your demo. So nice that we did something really similar exactly on the same time ! haha
yes, I used a Doepfer USB64 that is connected via midi to the axoloti to add cc's for the knobs. So I used the axoloti and connected swithes, leds and a 12 step potentiometer which 8 are used for switching the presets. The Doepfer is used with all the potentiometers knobs. Everithing is tested and works very well. I played it today with ableton Live on the 3 channels.
I think it will take a full week to finish the demo but I'm also curious to hear your very well made mini easel
Ldebeck: When your system starts, does the MIDI controller send the values for all pots to Axoloti?
