Patcher won't go live

Hi I have just started trying to learn the patcher software to create a modular synth but my board won't go live although it does connect no problem and green led is stable

i'm currently using Mavericks Osx on a mac book pro and the latest version of the patcher software.

do any of the demo patches go live? file->library->demo
can you confirm you are running axoloti 1.0.11

can you check console log, and paste contents here

and yes running latest version .11
i just tried changing the usb lead just in case but that seems to have made no change.

looks like it cannot find the runtime, have you installed it as per instructions?

Thanks too all who have tried to help :))
i'm very sorry for long delays in thread i have very limited internet access so please accept my apologies.
Thankfully i have managed to get the board to go live (yaaay) by back dating to version 0.8, my mac wouldn't see runtime as an app and therefore i couldn't do anything with the download. However now i have the board live i'm loving the software very intuitive i am going to start a blog on github all about the project should anyone be interested i will post link as soon as i have created the repository :)).

I dont understand this statement...
download this:

open it and you will get this:

now drag that folder into Applications (you may be asked for permissions)
like so....

the simply install 1.0.11

you certainly dont want to stay on 1.0.8, as that doesnt have all the communities goodies :slight_smile:
