Hi again (very thankful for all the help I am getting on this forum so far!)
I want to connect a footswitch with two momentary switches to the digital pins on the Axoloti.
Can i connect the two switches to a stereo jack (female) and then run a wire to another female stereo jack on the Axoloti.
In other words, can two momentary switches share a wire that runs to the VDD port? Or do they each need their own connection to VDD?

They can share the same VDD pin. But somehow I would rather have them share a Ground pin.
You will have to invert the signal then in the patcher and switch to pull up. But that would seem more intuitive because you can then ground your plug to the enclosure.
Great - will try that instead. I couldn’t make it work when they shared the VDD pin. I am just working based on a diagram in the Axoloti book - I have no idea what I am doing but making progress none the less
