Zoom R16/24 support

Hi,

try out Zoom R16/24 support.

I have an R24, but not exactly sure what the files in your github have to do with it.
I don't have much experience with making sense of the files on github.
Is there any description of what it does to the R24 ?

You are able to connect Zoom R16/24 to Axoloti USB host.
Have a look at chapter "Audio-Interface/Controller-Oberfläche . . 110" found in D_R24_0.pdf. (download @ ZOOM webpage)
I think ZOOM uses Mackie Control as 'protocol'.

In order to do so, you have to compile the Axoloti firmware as described here and use my branch ZOOM R16/24 from github.

Connect Axoloti USB HOST and ZOOM USB DEVICE ports
ZOOM R16/24:
Power on
Press USB Button
Select Audio I/F
Press ENTER
Select EXECUTE
Press ENTER

Axoloti:
Use Midi in/out objects

Hi @Gavin,

there is a 'hidden feature' to synchronize Axoloti and R24 in normal operation mode:
Record a couple of minutes from Axoloti ltc/gen object and link this wav file to the click-track on R24. Then you can use the ltc/decode object to sync your patch.

Thanks.. might be a bit beyond me though, not familiar with compiling firmware..:confounded:

The 'hidden feature' can be used without compiling axoloti firmware.
