Usb-monitor as midi controller?

I've found a website with small usb-powered monitors/tablets
Could this work with an axoloti, like a midicontroller?

Not quite sure which one you had in mind, but probably unlikely .. I didn't see any tech details, but you won't have a driver to use, so you would have to write one. Also not sure on power consumption

but perhaps the other way around?
giving power to the screen and connecting the axoloti to it as a slave?
I have this arturia connector which can use an independent power supply while being connected over usb. Perhaps this could circumvent that problem?

in that case you might be able to set to screen as a midi-host and just send midi-command to the axoloti over usb
