Sorry, this has a USB hub hidden inside, and hubs are not supported...
USB Midi Controllers
Are you able to get BSP in Control Mode to send CC to axo objects? Mine doesn't seem to be able to.
Thanks Johannes, turns out it was a problem with the BSP Midi Control Centre not being in sync with the device values. It all works now

Do the pads on the Akai LPD8 "latch" when using them to control parameters in an Axoloti patch or are they momentary on/off?
Also, has anyone tried a Novation Nocturn controller as yet? They seem to be class compliant as far as I can see.
Just discovered that the Gakken NSX-39 Pocket Miku is compatible with the Axoloti. Only sends keyboard data and receives power from the Axoloti but it's so weird that it's kinda worth it.
Here it is talking to my Axoloti. Don't they look happy?
also curious about the novation nocturn. the size would be perfect and there are tons of 2nd hand ones floating around.. anyone who has one care to plug theirs in and find out?
My English is bad.
Akai EWIUSB and the Midi module from Littlebits works great.
Komplete kontrol S25 no work (is not usb-midi class compliant).
Three controllers I've been using work to different degrees:
Korg nanoKontrol v1 - CC works fine, but no program change function and setting a button to be "Momentary" requires an on and off value which can result in a double value being sent out depending on how you are trying to use it.
Behringer X-Touch Mini - all works fine, program change functions work well but the Inc/+1 and Dec/-1 are mapped oddly by the editor software to be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc on Inc but 127, 126, 125, 124 on Dec. Currently no way to change this.
Evolution X-Session U17 (not pro) - CC works fine, program change function works well with the Inc/Dec function behaving in a more logical up and down fashion than the Behringer. Ancient controller editor software (Enigma) does not appear to work with any of the various PC's and Mac's I have laying around but easy enough to set up using the on board controls.
livid base I
working,including LED feedback and all.
BUT occasionally there are 'hanging notes' when playing the pads.
The pads are sending aftertouch or CC values when you hold them.
I've cross-checked this with the Max/Msp 'borax' - object , no hanging notes here.
I'll investigate some more...
it's possible that there's a BUG in the 'midi/kb/' objects,eventually the CC's are
overloading these.
BTW the 'base I' is on sale right now for less than 100 euro..
Linnstrument works fine with polychannel midi via DIN. Possible that some info is traveling too slow when lots of channels are selected for the poly mode.
USB polyphony has some issue and I will investigate.
I had some good results by simply slowing down the data rate of the Linnstrument usb! I did notice an earlier thread posted here that mentioned issues even with a low data rate, but I didn't have issues.
Also can recommend to set the LI only to send the needed data or use a number of midi channels equal to your instrument polyphony.
thats a really good point, that I forgot to mention... the reason is, my mpe implementation (and the poly expression) derive the voice idx from the midi channel, and I think by default the linnstrument rotates through channels (most of these controllers do this, though often its options... it allows release tails to ring out for as long as possible) .
as another option... rather than DIN which is slow, so requires thinned data, you can connect via the usb device port via a pc/raspberry pi. my experience of this, with the eigenharp/soundplane is this does not have the same speed restrictions as the usb host port appears to have.
@alexk, re throughput, see my update on this thread
Axoloti also works with the Casio GZ-5. No aftertouch or anything else very much, but that's pretty much all you get with the GZ-5 with anything.
