Synth Panels Design

I have just discovered this new inkscape extension to design panels. It could be of someone's interest

I normally use skinman/knobman, two (quite old) very simple programs for making vst backgrounds/knobs.
Might be a bit quicker for making up an overall design, after which you could make a precise one using your program.
Perhaps you could even use them together (not sure) to make textures/images that you can then use in your panel.
