Sync Libraries failure

I'm using Win 7 and Axoloti version 1.0.12-0-g80370d2

I haven't had problems in the past seeing new objects from the community, but none of the newest posts from the last month are available to me. When I try to sync libraries I get this:

theres some problem with files listed being changed 'inconsistently' , hard to say exactly what

anyway solution is simple, reset the libraries
file->preferences->reset all

you said yes, to delete all directories?

Ive done the same here, and its working fine...
usually this is caused by network issues, or not being able to write files to the directories?!
but cant think why you are getting it.

you could try closing down axoloti,
deleting the library which are in:
C:\Users\System User\Documents\axoloti
axoloti-contrib, axoloti-factory
and then restarting...

no particular reason it should work, but its very unusual for reset all not work, as it basically just deletes the directories and then redownloads them from GitHub

Yes. I puckered up because it seemed like a bad option.

I removed the two folders (contrib and factory) from the Axoloti directory, restarted Axoloti but it didn't download the folders.

Tried your reset procedure again, and now only some of the objects have returned. Should just manually download the folders from github and place them in the directory?

I know this is a terribly un-sexy and boring problem but I am in dire need of assistance or at least some level of understanding. The end-user, non-coder, non-DIY person begs you. Please.

When I tried to sync libraries, no new modules arrived. I then deleted them as suggested. Now many of them are "removed." I don't understand what is happening or how to repair this.

i said delete the entire directory... both factory and community

do not just delete the directory contents, which is what you have done, hence the 'removed' messages.

i also have no idea why the 'reset all' does not work for you,
we have done this with lots of people, and its always worked - it was the 'full back solution' , i tested recently it works for me on both windows and mac.

i can only think its something to do with either your network connection, or perhaps something on your system (anti virus) interfering.

when you do the reset all, are you getting any errors, if so post the entire console, i need to know exactly what is going on.

so its not about being boring or not... its just from what you've told me so far, I'm not really sure why your system is different from everyone else.

Despite the same settings as always, this was somehow preventing the download. I disabled it and the sync worked immediately.

I'm an unpaid volunteer here... i come here when i have time, and i post when i have something to say... and as I said, i was a bit stumped... this process has worked for everyone else in the past.
(as you can see, my suggestion about anti virus, is pretty much a guess, ive no idea if you have an anti virus installed, and if so which one... nor which ones are failing - as we have never seen this for the libraries before - as i said, a guess only)

then put it in a text file, and upload it to somewhere like dropbox and post a link... as i said, full logs are important, what a user thinks is 'not important'/relevant may not always be the case.

Hello - sorry to add to this thread, but it's the same issue and I'm hoping for assistance to get myself working again.

I've come back to Axoloti after building the Music Thing Modular controller. Community and Contrib folders had content, but were not syncing and had disappeared from the patch-builder since I last used Axoloti.

No changes to my iMac since I last used the board - that I can recall - and folders in the same place.

I deleted Contrib, Community and Factory folders, restarted and got this:

Okay, it took 15 minutes to reset libraries - and the folders are replaced in the main 'Axoloti' folder, and folder contents are now showing after restart.

Still getting file error message:

that means you don't have a startup patch on your sdcard...you can ignore that file error warning.
