StandardUSB numberpad/keyboard like USB mouse

I'm starting my axoloti journey, today I begin connecting buttons and potentiometers.

I came across the USB mouse object and it occurred to me - is there a straightforward way to plug a USB numberpad or standard computer keyboard into the USB input?

There is some code to support USB keyboards in the firmware, but the object hasn't been fully implemented yet. Note that keyboards with a built-in USB hub like the standard Apple keyboards won't work.
