Am I off my rocker here, or didn't the UI once open the object browser when right-clicking on the background in a patch window?
Shouldn't clicking on the background cause the object browser to come up?
I wouldn't know, I've just been onboard for a few days, but i'd really like to see this ctrl + click (or right click) is a bit more 'relaxed' than double clicking, but I've been advised to use N (or spacebar) so I've adapted to N for now .. the reason I like ctrl+click is it's intuitive when you forget (although N also brings the new object box up in Max)
Speaking of which, and adding to the above thoughts, it'd be great to see Cmd+Click (on an empty part of background) be a means to toggle Live mode. Max also uses Cmd+E to do the same, but again I think it's an intuitive option once you use it and I've been constantly mis-typing Cmd+W (starting to need glasses I think, sob)
double clicking
(right click wouldn't makes sense, imho, as this if anything should bring up a context window)
Thanks @avantronica and @thetechnobear for confiming that it is double click. Don't know why I was stuck on thinking it was right-click. Perhaps be cause I actually did feel it was in lieu of a context window: i.e. just as right-clicking on an icon in Windows brings up a context menu with things to do with that object, right-clicking on the background would bring up a menu with things you can put on that background. (No I'm not proposing a change, just trying to justify my train of thought...)
