Several modulation signals

Hi,
Is it better to add, multiple, or mix several modulation signals? For example I would like to modulate a cut off frequency of vcf using lfo, adsr and keyboard tracking. Which of these ways sound better and loads dsp less?

Have one side question. What is purpose of mixer bus in?

You could use it ti chain up several mixers. For example route output of one mixer into the next without using a channel. I connected the keyboard to the bus in because the keyboard needs full range... You could just connect it to a regular channel and turn the volume all the way up on that channel.
