Power supply, Axocontrol & DIN5 only

#1

Sorry if this has been anserwed but I can't find the answer ...

I want to use my AXOControl as a DIN5 controller only (nothing plugged in any usb port, processor barely used as it only serves as 10 midi out objects computing).
Is 7.5v / 0,150 Amp enough? (1.125 watt)

If not (and assuming 7.5v) what is the lowest current that will work?

Thanks

according to this post from @johannes 150mA @7.5V might be a bit too low even for a bare axoloti, axocontrol will be a good bit higher with the UI stuff.

but iiuc not much to loose with trying an underpowered supply?

also when you say DIN5 do you actually mean the mini connector or just plain old MIDI DIN? https://pinouts.ru/Audio-Video-Hardware/minidin_to_din_pinout.shtml

Yes, I mean the old standard MIDI connector. The board doesn't have to provide power to external USB device, neither receive power from usb port
