Patch editor has disappeared

Dear Peeps,

I am running 1.0.3 on OSX Yosemite. I have been creating my first patches and saving them to disk. I just saved as a new file, and now both patches will load and play, yet I can't actually see the patch window. I have tried going into mirroring mode to shake it back into action. I have rebooted everything a couple of times.

Fresh patches do not behave like this.

Any hints?

First time I'm hearing this.
The last window position and size is saved in the patch file, and when loading this location is restored.
As a quick'n'dirty workaround, you could open a patch file in a text editor and edit the XML, it's at the end of the file

<windowPos>
  <x>291</x>
  <y>118</y>
  <width>1030</width>
  <height>719</height>
</windowPos>

Are you using a multi-screen setup?

Oh and really few problems are solved by a reboot these days.

As perhaps more practical workaround, maybe you can select the patch in the window menu, and then hit a (mac-specific) shortcut to maximize a window.

Yes, using a multi screen setup. I have tried editing the file, no joy.

On some apps you can use 'alt' click the window in the list to 'gather' the windows on the main screen, yet I had no success.

I will try opening the patch on a different machine tomorrow. I should be in bed, too much fun!!!

here's what I have to do when I attach a 2nd screen to my laptop (ubuntu):
unplug hdmi , press Fn+F10 to make sure te resolution/screen is reset, then open Axoloti (it starts in first and only screen), then re-attach the 2nd screen.
If not, then Axoloti appears on the 3rd workspace, even it is not there.

Ok, So I worked it out in the end.
A) I installed Axoloti software on mylaptop, I opened the patch without the unit attached. The patch opened straight away. I re-saved my patch as a new name. I tried opening on the problematic mac tower, this still did not work. I re-installed just the Axoloti main mac program by dragging it from the installer, this now loaded the patch perfectly well!

Just incase anyone else experiences this!!
