Only 4 V on 5 V Pin

Hello Axo Community :slight_smile:

the axo Software, as well my measurements, only show 4 V on the 5 V pin off my Axoloti.
What's wrong here? Any tips for me?

Iā€™d try a different computer or power supply first.

This happens on some computers that can't deliver enough power to the 5V (like mine, I might even have burned my old computer with this, but not sure about that. Could also very well just have been that the processor was running in 40 degrees room temperature and then went over 100 degrees on itself.. woops..).

You can use an externally powered usb-hub to fix this.
Though it might be a good idea to test it out first at the shop.. I bought one once which wasn't much better then my computer even though the specs were ok. Some also have an external power supply that is only allowed to be used when it's not connected to a computer..
