My first real project using axoloti

#1

it's a hardstyle synth remake using axoloti soft/firmware!

original song is called "Colors of life" by "Coone"

here's the main synth without after editing:

and with some compression, equalizing and a little longer reverb i got this:

tell me what you think

Very nice. Not my style of music but well done with the sound. I don't get how the feedback delay network object works, do you have some insight into them? Why are there four inputs and outputs?

#3

well, the quad delay is a standard object in the axoloti software, as said, they are like 4 seperate delays, which you can mix together for a reverb sound

i don't know how that object works internally, but it's an awesome piece for reverb!

and thanks, i'm also pretty satisfied with how the sound came out.
i also got to reduce the after effects on my DAW to a total of 3 wihich still sounds good (1x eq with alot of added high end (over 18DB boost at 20khz!), reverb (about 3,5sec decay), and a 3 band compressor) :stuck_out_tongue:

#4

Nice powerful sound. Also not my style of music, but well made sound

#5

thanks

i really enjoy fiddling with the axoloti software, now that i know i can make quite epic supersaws with it!

here's a small update, re-rendered the same midi (with added sublayer this time, total 4 out of 5 voices being played) and removed the lowpass filters and reverb in axoloti software, now i only needed to add about 2DB starting at 8KHZ, for the rest the same effects are applied: reverb and multiband compressor.

though the result is alot different!

#6

and another update to the project: changed polyvoice to 4 instead of 5, giving me the ability to get a stereo 4 band equalizer, stereo compressor and a little reverb!

the result now sounds even more hardstyle-like (and thus closer to the original):
