My finished case for Axoloti + AxoControl

#1

Hey, I just thought I would post this completed case for the Axoloti and AxoControl board. I started with an existing design which I've modified to be compatible with the Ponoko laser cutting service.

I had to use a file to open up the tolerance a little bit, probably because of some shifts when I soldered the pots on, but overall I'm very happy with the result

Very neat and compact.

Also there was enough room (and in case I fucked things up) on the sheet to print two copies of the case, so I have one to sell if anyone is interested....

#4

I'll take if you are in Europe?

if not could you post the design...
also is the variation only in the top part of the case? or did you have to raise the sides?

Ive a few of the original design, so I'm wondering for my axo control, if I have to get the whole lot remade, or just the top..

I considered hacking one of the tops, but whilst i think i can get a good finish on the pots/leds I suspect getting the finish around the buttons, and joystick would be tricky to get looking reasonable.

I'm in California, and I have an offer for the east coast.

The two boards together is significantly taller than the Axoloti alone. This case is specifically designed for both.

I'm based in Europe too - have access to a lasercutter and acrylics and would very much like the designs for my own AxoControl if you'd care to share them?

#7

@Olivier did you ever end up selling your second case?

I am interested in a case just like this for my Core and Axocontrol.... So if you still have an extra one I would be interested in purchasing it, or learning how I can get one just like it... I am not familiar with Ponoko...

#8

Your case looks great! Would you be OK to share the files with us?

#9

hey i'm from Italy, i'm also interested in a pair of this, is possible?

#10

Any chance to get the files for this case?

#11

Hello is the case for sale still?

#12

Hi Olivier - could you please post the files for this?

Thanks
