MTC forwarding from usb to din MIDI?

#1

Hello, I wonder if it's possible to forward MTC messages coming from my digital recorder boss BR-800 (connected via usb) to the MIDI din output... I am trying to sync it with an hardware sequencer (Yamaha qy-700) it is working fine with a computer running linux, I've tried the midithru object but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

there is a midithru object with added realtime messages, try that

I've tried both tb/midi/utils/midithru and a773/midithru_incl_clock but it seems that no mtc message is passed through...
There is also the fact that the BR-800 has both midi and audio thru usb, may be this a problem?

thanks

could well be, can you send any other messages from the br-800? what does the console say, when you plug it in?

No other messages that I know of sadly...

When I plug it in it says

does not look too promising, although i have to check what it says, when you plug in a usb-midi compliant device
