No. I used hugo's patch as a reference and it worked fine. I do find it's problematic though as they lose connectivity when either teensy or axo is rebooted or patched. Now there's a work OLED object I'm actually pulling apart the Mongoloti to remove the Teensy and wire everything to the Axo.

Yess, I got the TX from teensy to axo right after I posted that message.
I haven't yet experienced the disconnection you mention. I wonder if there is some workaround for that.
Do they reconnect after or you have to reconnect them somehow? Does that happen only when you are working on the patch or also when they are in standalone mode? Did you connect teensy to axoloti PA2 and 3?

Basically it's only when I need to upload to the Axo. It resets and so I need to reset teh Teensy. When everything's up and running and "playing" then its fine.

A digital out pin from the axo could be used to short momentarily RST to ground. Very cool project btw!
I had to use this pin in the past when embedded the teensies on an installation and couldn't reach the reset button anymore
