Midi smoothing/stepping

I have a midi controller connected directly to the axoloti.
I have a tuning knob set to control the pitch of an osc. If i assign my midi controller to control the pitch-tuning knob i get steps (127). So i put a smooth object after the tuning knob, but i still get stepping. How do i get rid of stepping? Thanks:)

Have you tried with math/glide?

Thanks. Worked. Still not perfect when it comes to knob speed of responsivenes vs steps, but a lot better:)
Guess im better of using the analog knob inputs on the axoloti then.
