Midi-Clock too fast?

Hi,

when I use the MIDI/IN/Clock (Slave)-Object and wire out the pos4ppq it somehow is way too fast.
I'm sending the master-clock from Ableton and when I compare it to the my sequencer-patch it doesnt match.

I tried to divide it but that can't be it, right? I mean "four counts per quarter" is a 4/4 beat (?) oO

If I want to make a simple Techno-4/4-Beat, would I need to divide the ppq-output through 4 ?

Yeah, it's currently giving you 16th notes so dividing by 4 is correct. It might be easier and more versatile to use that 4ppqn output to drive a simple 16 step sequencer. That way you can easily enter your 4-to-the-floor type beat and still have room for some subtlety. :stuck_out_tongue:
