Hi!
Trying to get aftertouch working on my axolti.
Im using an 'Arturia keystep' to send midi to my Axoloti via DIN.
What i've tried:
* Different midi channels
* checked that the Keystep is actually sending aftertouch.
* tried alle object i could find in the patcher that has something with aftertouch, but im not getting anything.
Im not sure why my Axoloti is not getting any aftertouch data. im still getting note, velocity etc...
HELP!

i have no problem at all to receive aftertouch via usb-midi.
i use midi/in/touch.

so first thing i would try is to use the usb-connection to the axoloti usb in and see if you get aftertouch that way.

as @lokki said you need to use midi/in/touch , as the the touch on the keyb objects is for polyphonic aftertouch (not supported by keystep)

Thanks! i get aftertouch now by using midi/in/touch (seems that i haven't tried that one).
seems that the Keystep only sends aftertouch over channel 1 :frowning: too bad!

it sends on channel 1 even when the keys send on another channel? or it sends only one value regardless if you press one key harder then the other? (the latter would be poly aftertouch, not implemented by the keystep as @thetechnobear pointed out...

it only sends aftertouch when channel 1 is selected on the keystep, but i think im fine with getting aftertouch at all now :slight_smile:
