So I've embedded an Axoloti into my KeyStep. The job's pretty rough as I didn't have access to power tools at the time. It's great to have something I can carry around wherever I go. The tube goes to a breath sensor that I soldered up so I can use my breath instead of an envelope. You can even hum into it for amplitude modulation! It's loosely based off of mitxela's project here: https://mitxela.com/projects/breath_controller_mk_ii

Cool! Have any clips of it in action? Also - have any pics of what’s inside the key step? Very interesting possibilities here...

Well, it's better late than never. I've been in kind of a creative rut so no performance, but here's the inside:
Very cool. Are Axo and the Keystep able to communicate internally, or just using the midi host? Did you have to modify anything other than the case to get it to fit?
Thanks for the pics!

Just the midi host. I had to file down some of the poky bits on the top/bottom of the axo and also remove a plastic support on the keystep to make it all work. It's a tight fit.
