Is is possible to use 2 USB midi controllers at the same time somehow?

I'm thinking Novation launch key and Launch pad mini.

Or what about one of the above and at the same time an iPhone connected with Lemur?

Using 2 USB MIDI controllers won't be possible, as Axoloti doesn't support USB hubs.

iPhone with Lemur + 1 USB MIDI controller should work. But your patch needs to be uploaded as startup patch, since the iPhone will power the Axoloti.

I'm using 2 Axoloti boards with one USB midi controller attached to each. Both boards are interconnected using classic midi.
My goal is to send midi back and forth via serial midi on pins Pa2 and Pa3 and Hugos script from the library but some coding needs to be done to make this work.

that sounds really interesting, so the iphone kind hosts the axoloti? would this work with touchosc?

For the iPhone/iPad, you'll need the lightning to USB dongle, and then plug the Axoloti via the micro-USB cable into the dongle. Haven't tried with touchosc yet.
