The Sweet Sixteen kit will be arriving soon and I will be using it partially as a cv input converter for Axoloti. Are there any advantages to i2c vs midi as far as bandwidth or resolution of data? The Sweet Sixteen can convert cv to both i2c and midi.

I am guessing by the silence that I should use the midi functionality of the two devices.

MIDI will certainly be simpler, since it is a more completely standardized protocol.
The Axoloti hardware certainly supports I2C, but I don’t think there’s any Axoloti implementation of the higher protocol layers needed to use it for controllers.
