How to add additional inputs to a node/object

#1

Hi Guys.

I've come across a lot of sweet sounding axo objects that I desperately want to add additional inputs to. I just dont understand how... I've tried opening the objects and have seen the exposed parameters marked in blue, but haven't found a way to add input to them.

I guess it should be done in code? HOW?

Which specific object do you want to add an inlet to? And which parameter on the object?

there was a howto somewhere in this forum, have you done a search?

For example. the TSG Reverb is great sounding, but It only has audio in. I would like to modulate the size, decay time etc.

I just did it more carefully and found this one: (((Hacking objects 101: adding modulation inlets))
That was what i needed actually!

you are welcome

anyway.. you can also use modulation sources to modulate parameters of modules without inputs. I really like that I can select the amount and "polarity" of the modulation to move always in the "sweetspots" or having an Lfo moving things in opposite directions. If you have something else assigned as modulation source, you could use the cc internal object and modulate the parameter with cc.
