Help me *not* blow up my axoloti with 9V power

#1

I always powered my axoloti with usb. However I'd really like to power from 9V.

I have 2x cv.ocd that are powered from a 9V guitar-power adapter-thingie. On the cv.ocd it says "9-12V center neg", and the graphics on the axoloti suggests it's the exact opposite, so I bought a small inverter cable in a guitar store. My meter tells me that the power should be correctly inverted and I assume fit for the axoloti.

I'd really appreciate it if someone here could look through the images and verify that it's safe to proceed, plugging the 9V into the axoloti....

Hi @a773,
I found this post by @johannes:

That looks right, the inverter does what it should do, you can plug this to power your axoloti!

And as @SmashedTransistors pointed out there is a protection diode.

Thanks alot. both of you!

Plugged it in, and as you said, it works great! Good call on the reverse power diode!
