Help ! disconnected C46 element

#1

Hi all, I just purchased a second hand axoloti core, but I found that the element on C64 label was completely disconnected. What should I do ? I'm sorry but I'm totally ignorant in electronic and I don't know what to do ...
I hope I can use my axoloti ...
Thanks.

Probably damaged in transport or during handling...

C46 is a "capacitor", part of the audio input circuitry.
Missing C46 will essentially cause degraded performance of the audio input.
It does not affect anything else than the audio input.

Thanks johannes,
soldering again on the board is somehow possible?

The pads (where the capacitor is soldered on) have most likely peeled off the pcb substrate, that makes it impossible to solder it on the same place again.
Will require two "bodge wires" to reconstruct the capacitor, and some soldering skills.
A half-fix - restoring some of the audio input quality is connecting the "LIN+" pad to the "CM" pad, without the capacitor. Will still have reduced ground loop immunity on the audio input.

Ok, thanks again. For what I can see pcb and capacitor contacts seems intact, but I'm not expert at all ... I'll try to bring the board to a guy who makes soldering to see if he can solve the problem.
