I'm making a drum machine that uses longer sound files. The uploader skips my RAW-files that are larger than 8MB - why this restriction? The upload is also quite slow, can I just put the files on the SD card directly from my computer?

They're skipped for automatic upload, because upload is quite slow, and you'd probably be faster putting them on sdcard with a cardreader. So far there is no clean way to abort an upload, inadvertently initiating the upload of a large file 'd be annoying.
