On my File Manager, the buttons are inactive. Uploading a patch with sound files works fine, but I can't manage the files from the File Manager. Do I miss something?
Axoloti 1.0.12 on Mac OS 10.11.6, here is a screenshot:
hmm usually this only happens if the axoloti becomes disconnected, but then the files are also cleared.
does the main console say at the top, SD card mounted
any error messages in the console?
also try another SD card, perhaps something its not liking about the sdcard ... also try reformatting it in axoloti
using the format object. util/format
sorry, Ive never seen this before.... and a quick play here, I cant reproduce it.
(I assume you've done things like restart your computer, axoloti etc... so its not just some kind of random 'oddity)
as a workaround, and what I usually do anyway, is use axoloti in 'card reader mode'
(board->enter card reader mode)
OK, I restarted the Axoloti software, and it works. It seems to be a bug happening in this situation:
- disconnect the USB cable without first disconnecting in the axoloti Window
- then, after you reconnect, the buttons in the File Manager are inactive
Lesson learned: disconnect with a clean toggling off the "Connect" toggle in the axoloti Window.
Also, thanks for the card reader mode tip, I wasn't aware of it!
