Feeding random pitches into a sel_fb_16?

Greetings,

Just received my Axoloti and am completely immersed. Currently writing material for a series of EPs I've committed to this year and am excited for Axotoli to be all over each record.

While I attempt to wrap my head around all this thing can do, I figured I'd start out with a problem that I have, must have been solved, and haven't had any luck via Google:

Can you feed a sel fb 16 (or any other sel device) with random pitches? Ideally, to be used in a more generative context.

Appreciate any help and really love this thing!!

You could fill a table with random values at startup. Then read the values from the table and feed them into the pitch inlet of an oscillator when the patch is running.

well maybe its the indexer - it works fine (i guess) with a simple string. I can save and load the table file. [image]

It has Pitch inlets for each step. With some sample and hold you could probably randomize that.
