Dual-Axoloti sequenced sampler

Been working on this for a few months now and finally reached a jammable stage!
It's a 9-track sequenced sampler split across 2 axolotis, 6 drum parts on axo1 and 3 parts for stabs/bass/misc samples on axo2.
Patterns are preprogrammed across 3 sequencers and selectable for each part via pots - in the future I'd like to work on implementing exchangeable banks of patterns for each sequencer, but I struggle with tables.
Each axo has a one-knob LP+HP filter, a reverb, plus 2 distortion effects on axo1.

Nice :slight_smile:

Yeah tables for preset use makes it a bit more complicated. But once you got it working it's gonna be nice :slight_smile:

In a previous version I could select samples by loading them into tables individually, but when changing sample the axo would freeze for a moment while loading the new sample. Now I have fixed sample "banks" in a single audio file and select them by manipulating the starting point, which massively reduces my choice in samples, but fixes the cutting out problem.
I'm worried about running into the same issue when loading patterns from a table.

@floodcomics

Yes that is a common issue when loading new samples. Making sample chains, and using an offset as you are doing, is the best way to do it :slight_smile:

For recalling presets, you should do the same and there will be no issues. But yeah, it's a bit more complicated setting it up, but imo, worth it to get instant changes without glitches.

Here's an updated version:

I really wanted to make it into a stand-alone, plug-and-play piece of gear, so I've dropped the MIDI controllers and stripped it down to work with just the GPIO controls. Feels much more like an instrument now.

Looks Dope, nice work
