Hi all,
I've been busy working on some new objects and thought I'd share this. Objects are a work in progress, but close. This patch is stable.
It's a modulated, synced delay. No clicks, but you might get some pitch drift if your clock is unstable.
Delay time can be synced to midi or tap tempo, with a knob running through straight and dotted divisions. So, 1 bar, *1/2 bar, 1/2 bar, *1/4 bar, 1/4 bar, etc, etc. Or, can run unsynced.
Modulation is from a multi wave lfo (triangle, sine, square, saw). There is a pulse width control that affects all wave shapes. The lfo can be synced to tap/midi with a similar division knob set up, or be unsynced.
There's also a sample and hold mode on the lfo - it runs synced to midi/tap, at a separate division to the lfo. It holds whatever the lfo is doing, but at it's own division. If you turn the lfo/modulation division knob to max it produces noise, and the sample and hold becomes random.
The modulation depth is controlled by a bipolar knob, and it's scaled according to the delay time. The over all range of the depth knob can be increased/decreased with a few buttons, going from subtle to crazy.
It has a low pass filter in the delay feedback path because it sounds nice.
Here's some screenshots:
And here's some patches, they are all the same patch, just with different dial settings
