So Im mostly done with my enclosure, but I still have to open it up every time I need to connect it to the computer for tweeking the program.
Is thee any way to get the microUSB connection to the outside of an enclosure?

You could either cut holes in the side of the enclosure for all the ports, or just get a usb extension cable.

Why don't you leave it permanently connected, this way with the other end, you can connect it to your pc when you need to program it (it will also power it), or in standalone, you connect it to your power source to power it.

I would use a panel mount usb jack, preferably the B type, as it is much more solid than the whimsy micro-C.
There are many different types, I’m sure you’ll find a suitable one.
