Connecting Axoloti to android phone

#1

I am trying to connect my android phone to my axoloti. I already discovered that I should use the small USB connector on the core because the phone acts as a USB host. I use the Midi Commander app. And it shows that the the USB interface on the Core is detected. To be able to get it active I need to know the USB Cable number that the axoloti accepts/uses. Can anyone provide this to me? Or are there other limitations to be considered?

Thanks for any support.

iirc, should allow any (1-16) ... I think ...
(but try 1 first anyway ... , it may also be 0 on your interface, depends how they label them )

if you want to filter, then you can use a patch/patcher , enable midi selector and then CN is the 'midi port'
limitation, no sysex and host/device must be usb midi class compliant ... thats it really.

Mark, thanks for your quick response. I was not able to get it working with your instructions. And I am not able to replace elements in the setup to find out where the issue is. My intention is actaully to use my android device connected to the DIN. And for that I do not need to solve this issue so I will put it on my to do it later list.
