Coloured Blocks in patcher

Hi guys, I just had an idea, thought I'd throw it out there.

What are you thinking of coloured blocks on the background, so you can make zones and make it more visually easy to see what is where.

Love to hear your thoughs

like the panel object in maxmsp

and selectable colored knobs

Quartz Composer has coloured areas called Notes that sit underneath the objects. The top of the Note can have text added to it and can be dragged to move the note around. The bottom-right corner can be dragged to change the Note size. You can right-click to change the note colour.

It's a simple but very useful way to visually group collections of objects.

Actual coloured objects based on their category would be handy too. Though I've always said there aren't enough colours in the world and this is probably one of those use cases.

I think just the option to set a custom colour (probably chosen from a limited preset palette) for objects would be handy.
