Can I use audio in as high resolution ADC inputs?

#1

I've not used my Axoloti for a while, just returning to it.

Can I use the L audio input on the axoloti for high resolution ADC inputs? I'd like to get a decent precision measurement of a 0-3.3V value. I can scale that down with some resistors as needed.

Can I print that voltage to a serial over USB in Arduino console style?

#2

nope, this will not work.

the Inputs are DC-coupled, that means, no DC voltage can pass.

#3

Right idea, wrong words.

The inputs are capacitively (AC) coupled, blocking DC.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too.

I just had another browse of schematic and PCB. I'd previously seen some stuff was available on test points and that didn't look appealing but I've just noticed the row of pins for header does include LIN+, LIN-, RIN+ and RIN-. Perhaps this is possible after all and not too fiddly as I already have female header on one of my boards.
