Bcr2000 with zaquencer question

Hi,
Does anyone here know if the BCR2000 can still be used as a midi controller after installing the zaquencer firmware?
I am about to buy one but am not sure if I should turn it into a zaquencer. Thoughts?

Nope, the BCR2000 OS will be completely replaced.

Thanks, couldn't find an answer on the zaq forum. Do you own one, Eskadrone? And (how) do you use it with Axo?

I own one and use it with some old Hardware, Proteus, Morpheus, Bassstation. Regarding the Axo I still struggling with the case. Also I prefer making drone stuff on the axo currently, not sequences.
