After building my first monophonic subtractive synth (Basic Subtractive Synth - Core Elements) this is the next step:
A basic polyphonic synth based quite closely on the Roland Juno 60.
The patch includes the following features:
- 4 voice polyphony (It's not optimized for RAM usage yet.)
- mixable OSCs per voice: saw, pulse, square-sub (1 octave below), white noise
- pulse OSC can be modulated by: manual adjustment, LFO, envelope
- LFO: triangle with OSC-pitch, pulse-width & filter-pitch as modulation destinations
- Filter: non-resonant HP followed by 4pole LP
- LP-pitch can be modulated by LFO, envelope or inverted envelope
- Key tracking amount of LP-pitch is adjustable
- one ADSR envelope
- FX: Chorus
- Pitchbend: +- 1 octave
- Midi CC#1 mapped to LP-pitch
I hope you'll enjoy it! And maybe you'll come up with suggestions for improvement! (I'll especially appreciate any tips on how to reduce the memory usage!)
