Axocontrol Board

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to everything on this forum because I just purchased my first Axoloti a few weeks ago (So I apologize in advance if I say something ill informed). But as I was doing my research on Axoloti before purchasing I noticed that the Axocontrol board that used to be available through Music Thing is no longer in stock. I really want to use my first Axoloti for Axoclds and that patch is basically built around that control board (from what I saw when I opened it). I was wondering if anybody knows where to get one or has an extra they are willing to get rid of.

Can't advise on the Axocontrol (I have one and it's great) but you could use a midicontroller to do the same thing (the cheapest solution would be a Nanokontrol or Nanokontrol 2). You'd just need to map the controls in the Axo editor.

Hello ! ! ! to place an order I had sent a message to Thonk who had immediately put up for sale a series of axocontrols.

The axocontrol makes it possible to preserve the compact aspect of the Axoloti but above all, the potentiometers are managed with a definition well superior to that of a classic midi controller.

You can go to https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/mtm-axocontrol-pcb/ and get the PCB and get the components yourself, as the full kit look like it has not been in stock for a while.

Personally, I can put an hour to mount an Axocontrol (the large connector requires a little time for a correct welding).

The Axoloti is an absolutely great work base. There are some faults like the lack of digital audio inputs and outputs but personally it allowed me to realize many proffessional projects.

ecleinjr, I have two Axocontrol board. One built and one still brand new in the box. I love the one I built and used, I have to Axoloti's but have not built the second Axocontrol as I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and immediatly put on chemo. So now I am not using either Axo or the control and would love to see they are used by someone who wants them. I am in Southern California, USA. l am willing to let go of just one of the control boards (built or full kit) and/or either or both Axoloti's if you need them. Just for information sake, I did contact Thonk and they are going to be restocking the axocontrol boards within the month if anyone else on here is looking to buy I would advise you enter the waitlist for the kit and check your email.

I have 3 boards if you want one. I had 5 made, I’m keeping 2.
I also redesign a laser cut enclosure for it.
I will post the illustrator files when I’m on the computer.

I’m actually following up on baldgurus offer already but thank you for offering as well.

I do plan on making an enclosure for the axoloti + axocontrol when I get them. I just need to get the dimensions and find a laser engraver on my campus. Any tips for a noob at enclosures?
