Anyone selling their unused core?

#1

Hey. Considering it's been out of stock for months without any ETAs on the stock, I was wondering if maybe someone had an unused core they'd like to part with? I'm UK-based just in case. Cheers!

Hi!
I just met with Johannes yesterday.
I was very happy to hear from him that
they'll be back in stock pretty soon!!!!

#4

that would obviously be great news. did he give you a rough ETA other than "pretty soon"? you didn't happen to also ask him why he wouldn't disclose this information to this community forum he runs?

#5

Well actually he said a couple of days!
I had a long and inspiring talk with him.
Johannes has been busy working hard on the new version last months.
Axoloti really is a one man project when it comes to developing the hardware and firmware. What he wants to achieve for the new release (see the thread about Axo2.0) is pretty hard to accomplish (compatibility and all).
I think he needed a break from his own forum to get focussed.
Agreed, it's a bit strange to leave this great community unnotified about this, but I guess a few months do pass quickly when your programming?

Wowwie. In a desperate attempt: IF they arrived, any chance I can drop by tomorrow? I live around Dampoort, but am leaving to Jakarta in the evening. Best.

#7

I have a spare one that you can have, but I live in Antwerp...
If I can reach Johannes today, I'll ask!!!

#8

Okay if you can send me your phone number really fast, it will work!!!! Andrewclaes@gmail.com

#9

That's great to hear that he is doing well

#10

Wow guys, didn't expect so much response AND potentially good news about the stock. @weasel79, thanks mate, it IS for my brother's birthday. I'm going home in late September and wanted to surprise him (he was pretty excited about it last time he showed it to me). If the rumour about the updated stock is true, then I'll be able to get it delivered on time. If not, I'll do my best trying to convince you  Cheers!

@AndrewChi thanks for the update, it's great to know he's doing well and actually continuing to work on the new hardware.

#11

@joaogatao Johannes has put your new Axoloti on a secret location on a carpark near Dampoort, since he left his home today

Let me know if you still need it, so you could get the exact location, otherwise he can get it back later today!!!!

#12

@AndrewChi Wow that is supersweet!! But unfortunately I'm already on the move now. But thank you guys... Kinda speechless

#13

i'm kinda speechless too but for different reasons i think :joy:

#14

I was also already imagining some sort of Pokémon hunt for the very special Axoloti variety :joy:

#15

Have you heard anything from him since? I keep refreshing the page multiple times a day, haha

#16

Nope, no news yet.
I'm also keeping my fingers crossed...

All the best.

#17

Hi guys,

So, the correct way for ordering may be to check the item ordering page to know when some will be available to order, or do we have to place the order even if not available?

#18

Good news!

I just heard Johannes and the new batch is finished!
I'm going to help him with quality control and packaging on Monday,
so if nothing went wrong during production, the new Axoloti's should become available real soon!

Yes!!! Finally

#19

ooOOOOoooo !!!:open_mouth::grinning:

#20

Thanks a lot for your informations.

Just a quick question, do you know how many units are produced in every new batch ? it's more like 20 units or 200 units ?
