Analog Filters PCB

#1

Can Axoloti somehow work wit additional analog filter board, let say both, Axoloti digital and analog or "disable" Axoloti and use only analog filter board.

I have MI 4-pole mission board wit "coolaudio V2164 IC"
V2164 provide 15 types of analog filters + 4 resonance flavor.

Any expirience wit that?

Thank you!

That is not a generic analogue filter board, it is made to work with the Shruthi. It's also monophonic, so you would just be able to have one filter over the whole sound, not one per note/voice as in a poly synth. With those caveats, you can still do it. I put my Axo through my shruthi filter often. You can then control the cutoff an resonance from the Axo midi out.

See this quick and bad video I did showing me doing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yemkXAwvel4

Thank you.
Now i understand.

You make weird sound  It sound like is process trough formant filter?

Annoyingly I can't find the original patch to check, but I think it was just the Shruthi low pass with resonance on saws giving that sound. I may alternatively have used one of the Braids based oscillators which have wave-shaping. Digital though analogue for distortion and filters sounds great. This is also going through a guitar tube amp, which adds something else to the sound too. The Axo is great for experimenting adn losing hours with, that's for sure!

Yes you are right, low pass with resonance. But it have "flavor" like formant-wovel filter. If you cannot remember patch simple build another, it is not complicate.
Sorry I never hear sound of Braids.
 I spend 20 years of working in Jeskola Buzz, first modular tracker and i know what is losing hours, i count in one my track 120 generators to create one track
Presume that Axoloti is viral for "sound" modeling.
I'm just waiting for "green-light" to buy and start learning Axoloti.

It's a great machine - you'll definitely enjoy it
