Is it possible to add a new post to the top of a thread?
I have a thread on the Community Library board, and I want to add a new first post to follow the standard format used by other users.

That's usually not so easy with BB software AFAIK(?). However, you could repost toneburst/pattern/nmpgen.axo, and then edit your first posting to the common format.
The problem with reposting the first post at the bottom, is that there are comments related to it, which would then be out of sequence...

no you cant change history
but if you want I can help clean up your thread, if you let me know whats wrong.
(e.g. I can just delete a thread of conversation... really these posts are more about contributions that comments I think)
Maybe it's best just to delete the whole thread.
Could you give me a few moments to copy the content of some of the posts offline, so I can paste them back into a recreated thread, then delete the thread?
I'll drop a message here when I've done it.

Done
If you could delete my 'Toneburst Contributions' thread from the Community Library board, that would be great.
Cheers

Thank you!
Just realised I logged out of my work computer without saving the text of the posts I wanted to redo.
Doh!
My fault, anyway.
Cheers,

There is a trick that can be done with most BB software: You make a new thread with the new first posting(s) you want, then tb appends the old thread to that and deletes the old first posting. Dunno if that'll work here though.
but why not just edit the first post???
I thought the issue was you wanted to remove comments from it?
so creating a new thread from another post, and then appending all the other comments doesnt seem to buy much ? ...
(im not really sure what you're trying to achieve here in fairness)
ok, so I've create a new topic, with a top post, which you can edit (and you also own)
and then moved everything from the old topic to it.
