Adding analog filters/effects

#1

Hi everyone!
I have a few diy effect pedals laying around that I would like to incorporate to my synth I'm creating.

The problem is, I would like to power them using the Axoloti and they all require 9v but the Axoloti only outputs 3.3v as far as I can tell.

If I use one of these ( https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263331019951 ) would I be able to successfully power the effect pedal?

Just use a 9V power supply for your axoloti, then, bring the power to your other pedals from the large "+" and "-" next to the power supply input on the axoloti (not from the GPIO pins or after the 5V conversion). As you will realize if you test with a voltmeter, the power here is the same as the main power of the axoloti, it's a direct connection (just a reminder: typical Boss guitar pedals are powered center negative, Axoloti is powered center positive like Yamaha and others.)

Woa sweet !! Haha that's a pretty simple solution (thank goodness)

I've been daisy chaing my axoloti with some pedals and a mini mixer too and I had a lot of problems with noise. Especially when I hooked up a USB midi controller to the axo.

For me this thing solved a lot of problems, in case you experience the same kind of noise:
