Yeah this is super. More more!
*although this seems to be a recording of the direct input - not from the camera mic.
**ah yeah i think its a mix down of direct input and camera mic - great idea!

Thanks for watching, liking and sharing. I was ment to come and show you the video, but I'm living without internet at home, so I left the videos to be uploaded at my parents house, and everyone beat me to the publishing stage smile

I did record it into my zoom H4 with it's output pluged into my Roland mobilecube, all in the back pack. Then I mix a tiny bit of camera sound with the direct sound (lightly mastered) for the video.

I made the box (sorry I've painted it black since) a few days ago (no internet, so had to find things to do). I put 12 10kOhm pots, 4 light sensors (that can replace 4 pots using a switch for each) and two buttons. It really works a charm, so I'll be making a few different synths for this little box.

I'll share the patch as soon as I get internet back, but I'm afraid I may have changed it since, without keeping the old file, but it's more or less the same as the one used on the videos.

The patch itself is a mashup between a load of stuff found on this forum, but mainly it's the fm feedback with a filter fed into a long delay mixed with a modified version of a randomizer patch (I'll look up the credit when I publish the patch) playing some saw oscillators. It's all quite messy, but it works well and is really fun to play

Two more videos of the same walk / afternoon are also online (youtube) as well as Axoloti playing against / with a Roland Modular setup. you should find it on my channel.

Anyway thanks again @urbanspaceman for this post, and thanks @johannes for making such a great system. I think you're going to cost me a few years of my life smile

As asked on youtube, here is the patch I used for the video. I know a lot of it is messy, it was my first patch, and was made using mainly cut and paste from other patches. ( fm1-feedback by @MartijnVerhallen and Rungler_8 by @hesspet)
I don't think this patch could be very useful as it is made to work with my enclosure / box with it's 12 analog and 2 digital inputs, but I suppose it may be of help for some people
