32C3 Congress meetup?

#1

Anyone interested in setting up/joining an Axoloti assembly at 32C3 in Hamburg, December 27th to 30th?

The 32nd Chaos Communication Congress (32C3) is an annual four-day conference on technology, society and utopia.
The Congress offers lectures and workshops and various events on a multitude of topics including (but not limited to) information technology and generally a critical-creative attitude towards technology and the discussion about the effects of technological advances on society.

Perhaps I'll be there for a day or 2. not sure yet, but i'm in Hamburg anyway the 27th, so perhaps I can visit 32c3.
Are you doing some presentation there again?

#3

No, I did not even submit a proposal for an official presentation.

More thinking like organizing a table in the hardware hacking area, and doing demos, tutorials, coding, and jamming...

#4

Good idea. Can bring some things... Shruthis and my MIDIBox seq, maybe. Can anybody organise a mixer and some speakers maybe?

#5

I don't have a mixer small enough for traveling, I can bring pc-style speakers, and a few small usb-midi controllers.

I registered an assembly at 32C3 https://events.ccc.de/congress/2015/wiki/Assembly:Axoloti
Please register to the assembly if you want to participate!

And tagging some people: @ooooo @dreamer

Haha, unfortunately I'm not going this year, but some other friends with Axoloti's are!

Actually what I've been doing for mobile use is have the axoloti act as mixer for 2 inputs. So not all is lost if you want to hook up more instruments without a dedicated mixer

pity

please tag them or invite them to join the assembly!

#8

Sorry they are not on the forum (yet?), but I did tell them about your plan to meet up already

I linked the assembly-page to the IRC where they are also hanging out.

Enjoy the congres!

#9

Sold out already!

so, I probably wont be there. See you in Berlin in March perhaps

I'm at 32C3, in the hardware hacking area, almost next to Mitch' soldering/arduino workshop.
