MusicHackDay Berlin was great!
Meeting @Blindsmyth, @rbrt, Sylwester, and many others
Cooperating with @Hugo, Philippe and Anton on the development of a Axoloti object physical model of a clamped bar.
Then taping headphones (as a contact microphone, nothing else available) to the bottom of a food plate to pick up the contact sounds, to inject to that into the clamped bar resonator.
Submitting this project to the jury just-in-time, named "food|bar"
Presenting this to the jury as a game changer in new instruments for musical expression.
Winning the MusicHackDay "WTF Award"
We haven't received our prices yet, so can't review those yet:
(but I think it is missing XLR inputs with phantom power)

Best project ever! Can't wait to fill a wooden plate with some food and tease your physical modeling engine while eating!

#6

...as you said,a TRUE GAMECHANGER!
now,we all can TRASH our datagloves, brain-wave-reading ambisonic virtualizers,emotion-tracking coffe-machines and lie-detectors right away!

#7

Sounds great guys, any photos / videos / sounds ?

#8

Finally published the object hug/physical_model_bar.axo. Thanks again everybody for the nice time!

I'm getting an input error with your object :

axoloti/build/xpatch.cpp:267:14: error: 'inlet_input' was not declared in this scope
 u1[irp_int]+=inlet_input<<1;
              ^
make: *** [C:\Users\MATTH_~1\DOCUME~1\axoloti/build/xpatch.bin] Error 1
shell task failed, exit value: 1
Compiling patch failed ( untitled )

Am I doing something wrong ?
