On my Axoloti there is a set of five header pins to the rear of the headphone jack and also there is a row of seven pins behind the leds and little buttons.
I don't see any thing about these connections

Yes they're not documented (except in the schematic).
They're provisions for Axoloti Control (X3), and audio clock synchronization (X4). Audio clock synchronization is required to create a digital audio link between multiple Axoloti Core boards. But so far this has not been implemented.
