Software Patch for assigning Hardware display screen

Hi, my axoloti hardware has a display screen and I am wondering what patching would connect something like an oscilloscope or other visual display from the patch to the hardware device. Thanks for your help!

AFAIK, I2C multiplexers only work the other way around, i.e. to connect one master to several busses. As the multiplexer gets its switching commands via I2C, you can't just connect it "backwards". But any analog multiplexer (e.g. 4067) should be able to switch I2C. Also you could use a handshake signal and software to make sure that only one master at a time uses the display.

You really should try to contact the person who created your hardware. You don't know enough about Axoloti to even begin attempting to recreate this.

If I recall correctly, you've got a Sunbox. A bunch of pots, and a display. The specifics of how to get it working depend on how everything is wired, and depend on if the display is I2C (probably) or SPI (maybe, I suppose).

Yeah, this is well beyond me so far and I am ok to put it off for a good while until I get a grip with patching more. I have been in touch and am slowly working my way through the basics. Thanks for your response!
