Record to table without overdub

#1

I've been trying to build a multitrack loop station and found this example (I think it belongs to @rbrt), I've been playing with this patch for a while and I am trying to record to tables without overdub, can someone help me on this?

also, how can I reset/clear a table?

I'm quite new to axoloti, so please be gentle with me :slight_smile:

Add the rbrt/looper/lrec object to an empty patch, and open the help patch for that file by clicking the triangle. The help patch is a 4-track looper with just about anything you need for what you want to achieve. Just try to follow the wires :wink:

As for clearing tables, here's some info on why you shouldn't clear it:

@janvantomme thanks so much for pointing rbrt/looper/lrec, it is just what I was looking for..

I promise I won't think in erasing tables in the near future :smile:

@magma :
hmmm I never really got the point about not-clearing-tables,so I did an object called 'tcopy' (in the community library under rbrt/data/tcopy)
which does copying and clearing of tables with up to 16 X 'audio speed'...It works,somehow.
also,for more looping fun,check out 'sbrec' (rbrt/looper/sbrec)

@janvantomme :
yeah,it's somewhat 'wiry' :wink:
