Polyphonic aftertouch

Hi guys,

I cannot find any clear reference in the documentation mor on the forum about how to get Axoloti to react to polyphonic aftertouch?

I have used MPE's in my instrument but as soon as I switch from channel aftertouch to polyphonic aftertouch on my masterkeyboard the Axoloti actually STOPS reacting to aftertouch! I've also tried the polyphonic multichannel and polyphonic expression options in the settings menu but these even turn off the acceptance of note info.

So what am I doing wrong?

A step by step guide would be very much apreciated.

I suggested some time ago
It perfectly works for me, with the GEM S2, the Q Nexus or my "FSR72".

So you mean that I need to use a separate object in spite of the existence of the MPE ? Bewildering! :confounded:

Thank you very much. I've also integrated it into the CS80ish and it works remarkably well.

Typical though that this module has everything one needs except pitchbend so I had to leave the in MPE in as well.

The only thing really still missing now is portamento.

His trick allows to play legato notes with portamento.
It works with mono patches.

When it comes to polyphonic patches portamento is much less trivial.

Dear Smasho,

Because the Axoloti "documentation" is so fragmented it is a big help to have somebody with more experience point out where to find the less obvious stuff.

So thanks again for another great pointer!

Do you also have a pointer for the practical implementation of a granulator, including setting up the sample connection and if possible even with using the inputs for direct user sampling?

Hi, I did not experimented with sampling on the Axoloti yet.
